Description

Hariharavadanakavyam is a lyric poetry composed by Sanatanakavi Rewaprasad Dwivedi in 2009 in 261 verses. The lyric depicts life sketch of Swami Karpatriji in a authentic form giving details of his family background and personal life. He was born on August 11, 1907 in Village Bhatani of Pratapagarh District of Uttar Prasdesh. His father was Pt. Ramanidhi Ojha and mother was Shiva, daughter of Pt. Ramasuchita Shukla.

Contributions of Swami Karpatri ji, popularly known as Dharmasamra in the preservation of Hindu Shastras and traditions specially Yajna are depicted in detail in this lyric poetry. Swamiji was a staunch supporter of Sanatana Dharma. He was a great orator and learned saint with command over almost all the traditional Sanskrit Shastras including Dharmashastra. He founded famous political party named- Ramarajya Prishad and fought election for the Parliament and legislative assembly. He believed that to ground policies of the government on Sanatana principles it is necessary to have direct participation in it through elected representatives in state and national assemblies. He criticized the policies of the govt. opposed to the feelings and principles of Sanatana tradition, widely believed and practiced by Hindus. Swamiji had to face the strong opposition of political leaders of that time. Unperturbed by their attack he kept on opposing their policies.

Karpatriji organized many great Yajnas which contributed in removing the darkness from every sphere of the society and enlightened humanity to follow the rule of religion in every condition.
